Me and JB went to our storage unit to get some Christmas decorations out. Big mistake. Also stored there are the tons of mementos I've saved from the kid's childhoods. It took JB having to drag me away after I'd spotted all the mementos. But before he could get me in the car, I looked over in the corner of the unit. Peering out from a box were little Cabbage Patch doll hands and feet. I began pulling them out and low and behold, I found about 8 of them! We always tease Julie that she always chose boy dolls over girl dolls and then she ended up with three boys of her own! I digress......
When I got them home, I soon realized that having been in storage for years and years, these dolls had accumulated quite an old musty smell. What to do???? Well, throw them in the washing machine I guess! Sink or swim I say! It was quite a sight, seeing there little heads bobbing up and down in that wash tub!
After they were clean as a whistle, I took some of them over to Benny and he loved them! JJ also "cabbaged" on to one of them! The trick now is to keep Max, the psycho dog, from tearing these "antiques" limb from limb!!!
