I saw an advertisement for the "San Gennaro Feast". They touted it as a family event, an Italian salute to St. San Gennaro. There was to be wonderful Italian food, rides, etc. So, JB and I decided to go on another great adventure and see what the San Gennaro Feast was all about.
Turns out it was a glorified carnival! But we had a lot of fun reminiscing about the fairs we went to as kids. This one did not disappoint as far as being a good old fashioned carnival with rides, cotton candy, booths where you could win a stuffed animal, ferris wheels, and, of course, FOOD!
Here is our night in pictures:

Wheeeeee!

Food galore!

See Jupiter, Venus and the moon all out tonight!

This is the new version of the ferris wheel!

It turns amazing colors!

My intention here was not to show the ferris wheel, but the Deep Fried Twinkies, Snickers and Peaches!!!

OK, now we've went over the top!!!! A "brick" of fries!!!

What's a fair without cotton candy!

Ewwwww, some of the grills looked mighty suspect.

So we left and went out to eat at a restaurant! But our little trip to the fair was sure fun and brought back great memories from our childhood.
Hear the sights and sounds of a fair!
