I'm excited to see all of our newly planted plants bursting out with color! Like rabbits, plants multiply like crazy here! What started out as small little gallon plants last fall, are now giant sprawling plants and they show no signs of stopping! Just the opposite, they will take over the yard if we don't keep them continually trimmed. It's nice to see COLOR in the desert!
The white gardenias have tons of buds on them but are not flowering yet. The Hibiscus is just starting to bloom. The light pink oleander and purple bougainvillea haven't popped their heads out either. When they do, I'll re-post. (*UPDATE - see the Hibiscus, Gardenias and Oleanders at the bottom of this post. They are all popped out now and beautiful! 4/25/12)

God has a sense of humor. I went out one day and my little rabbit statue had a perfectly placed flower in her hair! In a few days, it had moved to a different location as these Lantana grow so fast!
THE NEW PHOTOS: Notice the sweet little "bird couple" at the bottom. Of course I'm sure the beautiful one with the red head is the male. Is that some kind of joke that God has played that the male always gets to be the "pretty" one??? Ha!
