BOSTON TRIP!!!

In June, Priscilla and I went to Boston to take care of her sister Wendy who had just had hip replacement surgery.  Despite having just had a huge operation, Wendy was in great spirits and we had a ball!  Felt like a slumber party with us three girls!  It was Priscilla's birthday while we were there so we celebrated that and Wendy treated us to a "Duck Tour" (hey, how could I refuse anything named DUCK!)!!!

On the Duck Tour you go all over Boston and your vehicle suddenly turns into a boat and you go into the water!  We drove all over the Boston harbor and I kept thinking of the Tea Party---you know, dumping all that tea into Boston harbor!  It is a truly beautiful city!

Wendy's son David, her daughter-in-law Jen and granddaughter Meghan also visited as well as Priscilla and Wendy's nephew Will and his wife Katie and daughter Tess.   We ended up having a lot of fun and Wendy was a total trooper the whole time, recovering so fast!

Happy birthday to you!

Wendy's screened in porch.  We lived there all week and loved it!

Willie!!!!  OK...Will.  I remember when he was just a little red haired boy running around Priscilla's house!

What a cutie pie!

Boston was lush and green and beautiful!
But now it's time to head home.  We are flying to Phoenix to pick up John and then we're all going to the Porters in Washington to spend the 4th of July.
