As you all know, WE LOVE OUR DUCKS!!! Our families have been LONG TIME Duck fans! John went to games with his Dad in the 1950's! Here is a pic of me in a Duck sweater when I was about 4 or 5 yrs old!
We both went to the U of O and John graduated from there. We grew up in Eugene, Oregon, home of the Ducks. We have lots of happy memories of going to Duck games through the years and rooting for them. The Ducks went to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP just last January, here in Glendale. (We lost by only 3 points, what a heart breaker!). Sadly, after trying everything imaginable to get tickets we could not. It was so sad, being so close and yet so far away! But we had a total blast anyway as John, Jeff and I went to a huge shopping complex right next to the stadium and joined literally thousands of Oregon and Auburn fans to watch it on a big screen and cheer. What a great time (except for losing!!).
THEN....this year we WON THE ROSE BOWL! First time the Ducks had won it in 95 years...yow! SOOOOO exciting, a GREAT game!!!!
